Biggar lies 28 miles to the south of Edinburgh on the A702, in South Lanarkshire and close to the boundary of the Scottish borders.
With the Pentland Hills to the north and the Southern Scottish Uplands to the south, it is surrounded by beautiful landscape and scenery.
