Biggar Little Festival 2021

Street Art Exhibition on Biggar High Street

Following on from the successes of previous years, artwork from Biggar Nursery to P7 and the art & design department from Biggar High School will be displayed in shop windows from 8th - 24th October.

Stretching the full length of Biggar High Street with more than 50 shops participating this free event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate local talent and support local businesses.

The artwork this year will focus on Scottish myths and legends, so look out for some dramatic scenes on the High Street of Biggar!

Biggar Little Artists' Exhibition at Loaningdale - Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th October 2021

This will be a unique event showcasing the talents of artists from Biggar and the surrounding area in Biggar's newest art venue, Loaningdale House.

The Biggar Little Artists will be showing artwork for sale across a diverse range of media including painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, glass, textiles and jewellery.

Biggar Links - As part of the Exhibition there will also be a chance to see images and pieces from the super popular Biggar Links community art trail. This project was embraced by the community and the town was brightened up with amazing displays in gardens and windows and online with their own Eternity Knot design.

We are also planning for the future and looking to our Festival in 2022. This will be a truly milestone of a year, as Biggar Little Festival will be 20 years old. Yes, Biggar can be proud of this achievement and we want to ensure that we celebrate our birthday in style. So watch this space!!
