Rossano Sportiello was born in Vigevano, Italy, studied classical piano but realised that Jazz was his main interest.He met up and played with some of the current great American Jazz musicians. In 2005, Rossano was awarded the Priz du Jazz by the French Acadamie du Jazz, and in 2009, the Ascona Jazz Award for his mastery of Jazz Piano.Based in New York, he returns home every year to play in Europe.
