Ian will be joined by other members of the Dukes plus wonderful local bass player Alex Marfinescu for a play along workshop. We’ll be tackling a selection of the best numbers from Songbooks 7, 8 and 9 - chosen on the day with no rehearsal! Spare copies of the books will be available if required. It’s a session for people who have been through the beginner stage of playing, so mostly simple chords but with one or two new elements introduced. The emphasis will be on playing and singing together rather than teaching but musical pointers will be given.Bring a music stand if you have one, and please also bring copies of Ian’s song books 7, 8 and 9 if you have them.Suitable for all ages. The Dukes of Uke return with a new show, which is unburdened by a theme, so anything goes.
