Biggar little beer festival is in it’s third year at the CAMRA Glasgow and West of Scotland pub of the year, The Crown Inn Biggar. This year a total of 40 real ales will be showcased with the emphasis being our great local breweries such as Broughton, Stewarts, Strathaven, Freewheelin’ Peebles, Campervan and many more. Festival starts Thursday night each weekend and finishes Sunday night. Living on the Land

An exhibition of photography and poetry celebrating nature, the seasons and the farming community who live on the land in and around Crawfordjohn. A collaboration between artist Carol Taylor and published writer Dee Yates, with film contributions from David Barton. Limited edition Giclee prints, framed and unframed, with accompanying poetry; greetings cards; books of photographs and poetry, and aerial films of local landscape. All proceeds of sales to Crawfordjohn Heritage Venture, a registered museum which highlights the rural history of the area.
