Biggar little beer festival is in it’s third year at the CAMRA Glasgow and West of Scotland pub of the year, The Crown Inn Biggar. This year a total of 40 real ales will be showcased with the emphasis being our great local breweries such as Broughton, Stewarts, Strathaven, Freewheelin’ Peebles, Campervan and many more. Festival starts Thursday night each weekend and finishes Sunday night. This is a new workshop we are running for people who would like to know how to sew their own clothes. We are going to teach you how, from just 1 meter of material, you can make a wonderful top. This workshop would be suitable for beginner and intermediate skill levels. Some sewing skills are desirable, however you do not need to have sewn clothes before.You will need a sewing machine, basic sewing kit (scissors, needles, pins, threads) and 1 meter of material.
