Biggar Little Festival is now on! All three of our 2020 events are up and running, so be sure to get along “virtually” or “in person” and enjoy this annual celebration of community creativity! THIS WEEK – Colour Me Happy Collection (part of the Virtual Exhibition, Thursday 22 October -Sunday 22 November)
This week’s mini exhibition is Colour Me Happy. It focuses on the work of 6 local artists – Maggie Lord, Isobel Struthers, Eileen Hood, Moira Pedreschi, Pat MacKenzie and Moira Russell. There’s a wealth of fabulous items offered for sale including designer silver jewellery, brightly coloured wrap pins, knitted designer scarfs and mixed media and oil paintings. If all this creativity is inspiring you to get creative yourself, you might even feel inspired to try out artist Moira Russell’s range of card making kits and get making! Once again, Biggar Little Festival has partnered with local artisan gin-makers. This week’s mini exhibition is paired with Strathaven-based McLeans Gin and you are warmly welcomed to pour yourself a glass before settling down to view Colour Me Happy.
